Folded Corner: St Merryn holiday village is conveniently located just outside the village of St Merryn, within easy reach of the main A30 route and therefore access to the rest of Cornwall.  Padstow is just 3 miles away, Newquay and Newquay airport is just 10 miles away.  The parish of St Merryn boasts 7 unspoilt, lifeguarded beaches on it's coastline with the Cornwall coastal footpath linking them all.  There really is some breath taking scenery to take in !  There are also 3 golf courses in the local vicinity, designated cycle paths and moorland walks.  The village of St Merryn offers the usual amenities of a post office, two pubs and restaurants, doctors surgery, garage, butchers, bakery, newsagent and grocery shops (including an off licence) . The Seven bays - Harlyn is a fine half mile long stretch of sand, safe for swimming and surfing which is backed by dunes, low cliffs and fields. A large car park overlooks the beach. Mother Iveys Bay is small and secluded, with a steeply shelving beach.  The green acres of Trevose Golf and Country club stretch back from Booby's Bay and near the 4th green is a small building reputed to be the dwelling of a once notorious wrecker.  Constantine Bay is fringed by sand dunes and it's long crescent provides ample space for everyone. Swimming and all year round surfing is popular but can be dangerous at times. Constantine Bay stores satisfies most needs and nearby is a hairdressers and market garden.  Treyarnon Bay is a narrow sandy beach, which is rocky on its north side providing many rock pools and a large natural swimming pool, which is washed clean by high tides. There is much to explore and do in Cornwall, whatever your interests,  Koinonia lodge will be a perfect base from which to be as adventurous .. or not ..  as you wish . Pictures ...
